A case of pulseless syndrome associated with cataract and circum-papillary anastomosis of the retina

Abstract
|

|
A case of pulseless disease was reported here, A woman aged 17 who had been suffering from occasional attacks of fainting, head ach, dizziness and loss of vision was admitted to the Dept, of Ophthalmology, Chonnam University Hospital, and had been treated symptomatically under diagnosis of a pulseless disease for a month with no effects. Finally, the cataracts were extracted with visual improvement from vision 0.02(N. C.) to 0.2 with +10 D. in the both eyes.
The first examination revealed peculiar circum-papillary anastomossis of the both retinal vessels, paralytic mydriasis, accommodative paralysis, and zonular cataracts in the both eyes, with deficit of pulseless on the both upper extremities.
